Esme is growing up so quickly. It is hard to believe that she is past five months old. I feel as if I am falling into a parenting groove. What a strange phrase, "fall into a groove"... it makes sense though.

Esme is five months old already. What a joy in my life! She is the light of my world. I cannot imagine life without her. She is learning to settle herself down to sleep now, though it is rather hard. She cries rather often when I try to get her to sleep in her crib. I am sorry if anyone can hear her. I am not the best at silencing charms.

Mother, can I speak with you, please? Would you like to come see my quarters? My husband put a two-bedroom tent in our room, so we have a nursery for Esme. I would love for you to see it. And you can see the throw-away diapers and false milk that I can use. It is wonderful.

I am so very relieved to have throw-away diapers and false milk again. Not to mention a crib to lay Esme down in. It was such a hard thing to do to be on the island without my things, my room, my cats.
She is napping now, so I have a moment to run to the restaurant for some food. Fruit would be lovely.

I hope that others are faring better than I am without the use of magic. It is rather difficult to keep myself and Esme clean without the use of charms. Somehow I am managing, though it is getting more and more frustrating. I certainly hope that our magic comes back. Do you think that it will?

So many people have left the ship. My mother is gone It is a very frightening thought. Who will be the next to leave? What would happen to my dear Esme if something were to happen to me or to Theodore? I do not like to think of such things.
Dorea, please come over and have tea with me. I need your help with Esme's false milk.
Also, I am not sure where our Quidditch teams left off. Please check the list posted here and let me know about corrections that need to be made. We can start up again as soon as possible.

I had no idea how much having a child would change my life completely. It is the most wonderful change, even though it is quite a strain. I am constantly tired, constantly working to take care of my child, and constantly wondering what happened to my old life. It has been quite some time since I have seen anyone. Esme is seven weeks old, and she is the light of my life.
I would love a visitor, though. Would anyone like to come by?

I am so very sorry that I have not been more available as of late. It is very hard to move around, I am tired and hungry near constantly, and am taking as much time to sleep as I can. I certainly hope that there will be friends nearby after Esme is born, because I am sure that I could use the help in keeping our quarters clean.
The next Quidditch Match will be on March 28th.

I am 34 weeks pregnant. It is hard to believe that I only have 6 weeks to go. I have only had one "false alarm," but one was definitely enough. The Midwives on the ship have been very supportive. I am very much looking forward to the shower that Dorea is throwing for me.
We have decided to name the baby after her grandmother on my husband's side. Her name will be Esme. We have not yet decided what her family name will be, since we have many to choose from.
I am addicted to daytime television. I watch the angry muggle judges, and the "soap opera" with All the Children. I am as large as a planet, and it is easy to lay around on the sofa and watch the television. The kittens come and curl up with me.
The next Quidditch Match will be the Vikings Versus the Pirates, on February 28th.

Our first Official game was snowed out on December 20th. I have checked the weather forecast, and it shows that the next two weeks will be beautiful for Quidditch. Our first truly Official game will be on January 31st, Saturday. It will be the Pirates versus the Vikings.

There is a third team that is being started by Adrian Pucey, please contact him if you wish to play and he will organize his team.

The Healers want to see me every other week now, instead of once each month. And for the last month of my pregnancy, they will want to see me every week, just to make sure I am progressing properly. I am at thirty weeks now, and all is well.
Luna and Loki look adorable with their litter. It is remarkable how quickly kittens grow. I am sure that our daughter, Esme, will grow nearly as quickly.
